My ignorance is infinite and until yesterday I knew nothing about Heliozoa, or Sun Animalcules. This is Actinosphaerium eichhorni:

In 2013 it was shortlisted for the Royal Society Winton prize for science books, a Society of Biology award, and the British Book Design Awards.
